Long and winding road to Panama
Long and winding road to Panama

The new Panama city seen from the old part of town
It has been a long and winding road to Panama. We are now only one and a half month short from having been two years on the road. But now the tide is turning. We are turning around and heading home much to the pleasure of our families.
We could very well keep on going, but it is in a way necessary to take a brake from every thing and work out all the informations we have gathered along the way.
Any ways the road ends here in Panama and you will have to take a ship to go over to Columbia or Venezuela. No way of going through the Darian gap even though Benzi is powerful old fart. South America means different area with different adventures. For now we like to put an end to the Central America chapter first and to help us with that our daughter is coming and traveling with us home.
Who knows we might even write a book or two and for that we do have to stop for a while. So why not do that in Iceland. The best time of the year in Iceland is coming up and in a way I do miss the Icelandic summer. I would also like to finish some of the work I started before leaving so there might even be two more books in the future.
As you can see there will be plenty of work to do for us when we get back. There are many contacts that we have had hard time keeping up with and lot of people we would now like to see back home. Some of them so new to this world that we have never seen them at all.
This does by no means mean that we have stopped traveling. Far from it. We have already planed at least two trips in Iceland and are starting to plan further trips abroad as well.
We will keep on rolling, but for now we will roll back to USA.
to citade the Pink Floyd song from last blog..
