Mo blues in Fljotshlið

The first Nordens blues festival was held in the town of Hvolsvöllur and nearby Fljótshlíð in early June.
We used the opportunity to test the Hipmobile, enjoy some of Icelands finest Blues and scenery.

The concerts where great and I was amazed at the talents that we got Like Kristjana Stefansdóttir, Andrea Gylfadóttir and more. I knew them to be good but not at all that good. Superb performance and festival that hopefully will be held every year from now on.

In between concerts at night we drove around in the country side and did some cultural excursions scouting out future camping places and being the homeland tourists. We had a great time.
