Little trip to Snæfellsnes

We took the Hipmobil last week on a litle trip to Snæfellsnes in West Iceland. Its where you find the Glacier that is mentioned in Jules Verne story Journey to the center of the world and they newly made a movie about staring an talented icelandic actress Anita Briem.

Traveling in the Hipmobile is a cramped style from Benzi but some how we managed to keep every body happy and a way from fighting even though it was Me, Guðný, Tara and Pjakkur the little rascal.

Traveling with a puppy and a def and blind dog is not the easiest but we managed and also managed to do some hiking.

This image was from a short hike towards the coastline. Place that not to many stop at and even now of. You probably will not find this viewpoint in any guide books.
Hope you enjoy the view which is inland and in opposite direction from Snæfellsjökull the glacier. Ill give you a view towards the glacier once I have finished working on the image.
