Grief in heart (but not much)

Its bin a wonderful time up in the Rocky's and it is with grief in heart that we have left, but as we get closer to Vancouver the hotter it gets and just about time to change from the woolen underpants to shorts. It feels nice. Now there is also the opportunity to go fishing. We have done so much Hiking through such a wonderful areas that it will take some time to process all that beauty.

The fishing experience here is a way different from Iceland. I bought the day before yesterday a fishing pass that allows me the foreigner to access almost all lakes and rivers in BC. This pass is cheaper than one day in small lake in Iceland. I wish that Iceland would take up the same system as is in USA and Canada. Then more people could enjoy this wonderful outdoors sport, and get healthier by eating more fish.

In Chase we had a marvelous experience as we watched the river boiling with salmon. I even tried some fishing and had trouble with to much salmon being in the way. You can not take the salmon and you probably would not. Half of them that I took ashore where already half dead. But those that weren't did put on a real show. Every where from the tip of your toes and out over the river where salmons of different kind. in-between there was trout but it would not take. the locals said that in a week time the salmon would be gone or dead and then the trout would come back like two weeks earlier when you would fish your daily quota with in two hours. So much trout was there and so grim.

This richness of the land in game and fish hunting, landscape and hiking opportunities are grate and make me want to move to here. But I am resisting as I had already been warned about this and told not to go to Canada as I would not want to leave.
Well its not far from that, but life goes on and so will I.
