First night in Benzi

We arrived in Texas a bit late. Every thing looks different from home.

I delivered the rental car to the agency at the airport and took a taxi back. Here it is to difficult to find the bus if one exists. The Nigeria born Taxi driver that drove me told me his story on the way how he moved over with his family. It was strange to hear a story about the racism amongst the black community he lived in. Neither was he pleased with the laziness of the modern youngsters.

The lucky charm sheep Eyjolfur

This became our first night in Benzi. It felt strange. And we still confused about what we where getting into.

The only one that found his place right away was Eyjolfur, the lucky charm sheep we where given by the group of hikers we be long to.

It was hot, terribly hot and high humidity. Some thing we where to experience more of in the next days.
